Sensational Science at Boxhill
A group of year 5's had the opportunity to experience the fun of secondary school science learning at Boxhill school last week. They had hands-on practice with three areas of science:
1.Biology- seeing how the enzyme Amylase breaks down starch and
2.Chemistry- looking at reversible / irreversible changes and the temperature during a chemical reaction.
3. Physics-experiments with air pressure making a marshmallow expand and contract.
